Returns Guidelines

Return Eligibility

A product may qualify for return if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The item remains unused and unopened

  • Original packaging is intact

  • All included parts, manuals, and accessories are returned

Return Period

  • Return requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery

  • If a product page lists a different return policy, that policy takes precedence

Order Verification

  • Returns must include a valid order number or proof of purchase

Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products that show signs of use or have been opened

  • Custom-manufactured or made-to-order items

  • Clearance or final-sale merchandise

  • Items labeled as non-returnable

  • Products restricted by manufacturer return policies

How to Start a Return

1. Request Approval

To begin a return request, contact our support team:

2. Return Authorization

  • Approved requests will receive Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) instructions

  • The correct return address will be provided, as locations differ by manufacturer

3. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases of confirmed defects or shipping damage

  • We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method

  • Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable

Refunds

  • Returned items are inspected upon arrival

  • You will be notified once your return is approved or denied

Refund Issuance

Restocking Charges

Restocking Fee Exceptions

Product Exchanges

  • Exchanges are available for qualifying items with manufacturer approval

  • Certain items may not be eligible for exchange, once shipped

Damaged or Defective Deliveries

Please inspect shipments immediately upon receipt.

  • Report visible damage within 24 hours of delivery

  • Email photos or videos of the product, packaging, and SKU to sales@thecontractortools.com

  • Approved claims may result in repair, replacement, or refund at no additional cost

Order Cancellations

Prior to Shipment

  • Orders may be canceled without penalty before shipment

  • Contact us as soon as possible to request cancellation

After Shipment

  • Shipped orders cannot be canceled

  • Returns may be requested after delivery per this policy

Custom & Made-to-Order Products

  • Once production begins, custom and made-to-order items are final sale

  • These items cannot be canceled or refunded

Warranty Coverage

  • Warranty terms vary by manufacturer

  • Shipping damage must be reported promptly and is not covered if reported late
