Bear Iron Works 2 CY Bedding Box for Excavators & Skid Steers

The Bear Iron Works 2 CY Bedding Box is a heavy-duty material containment box designed for excavation, trenching, landscaping, subgrade work, and fine grading applications. Its wider 54-inch interior provides additional room for larger grading buckets while keeping bedding sand, gravel, soil, and other jobsite materials contained and positioned close to the work area.

During utility and trenching operations, the bedding box allows material to move with the excavation crew instead of requiring repeated trips back to a stockpile. An excavator can pull the box along the trench as work progresses, helping reduce material loss, unnecessary machine travel, and delays between bedding operations.

The 2 CY model incorporates the same field-tested construction principles used throughout the Bear Iron Works Bedding Box range, including reinforced and gusseted structural areas, Schedule 80 pipe cross members, a fish-plated underside for added durability while dragging, D-rings for securing and handling, and heavy-duty welded construction.

For contractors who also want skid-steer handling capability, the 2 CY Bedding Box is available with an optional skid steer attachment plate. The standard configuration weighs approximately 1,100 lbs, while the attachment-plate configuration weighs approximately 1,250 lbs.
