Bear Iron Works Removable Screen for Cub Grizzly Rock Screen

The Bear Iron Works Cub Removable Screen is an interchangeable screening insert designed specifically for the Bear Iron Works Cub Grizzly Rock Screen. It allows contractors to change the finished material size without replacing or modifying the main Grizzly.

The standard Cub uses fixed Grizzly rails for coarse separation. Adding a removable screen gives the operator much finer control, with available openings ranging from 3 inches down to 1/4 inch. This makes the Cub more versatile for applications where consistent particle sizing is required, including screened soil and aggregate processing.

Bear Iron Works uses square-wire crusher screen material similar to screening media used in larger aggregate-processing equipment. Because the openings are square, the removable screen provides more consistent sizing than relying on the Grizzly rails alone.

The system is also designed so the operator can install or remove the screen using the cutting edge of the machine bucket rather than relying on a traditional bolt-on screen system. This allows screen sizes to be changed more efficiently as material requirements change.

Which model should you choose?

The Cub Removable Screen is available in multiple opening sizes from 3" down to 1/4".

Choose the opening size based on the maximum finished material size you want to pass through the screen.

Larger openings such as 3", 2-1/2", and 2" are intended for coarser material separation.

Mid-range openings such as 1-1/2", 1-1/4", 1", and 3/4" provide progressively finer material sizing.

Fine openings such as 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4" are intended when a much finer screened product is required.

This accessory is designed specifically for the Cub Grizzly Rock Screen and is not a standalone screening machine.
