Bear Iron Works Removable Screen for Papa Grizzly Rock Screen

The Bear Iron Works Papa Removable Screen is a heavy-duty interchangeable screening insert designed specifically for the Papa Grizzly Rock Screen. It gives contractors, aggregate producers, quarry operators, and heavy-equipment users the ability to produce more precisely sized material without replacing or modifying the main Grizzly.

The Papa Grizzly handles large rocks, recycled concrete, aggregate, and oversized debris using its primary solid-steel screening rails. Adding a removable screen creates a finer second screening stage, allowing operators to process material using openings from 3 inches down to 1/4 inch.

Bear Iron Works uses square-wire crusher screen material similar to the screening media used in large-scale aggregate-processing equipment. The square openings provide consistent sizing and make the system useful for screened aggregate, soil, recycled material, quarry applications, mining operations, and other jobs where a more uniform finished product is required.

The screen uses Bear Iron Works' equipment-assisted hook system. Operators can install, remove, or exchange the screen with the cutting edge of the loader bucket rather than repeatedly installing conventional bolts or pins.

The Papa Removable Screen is designed specifically for the Papa Grizzly Rock Screen and is not intended to function as a standalone screener.

Which screen size should you choose?

3", 2-1/2" and 2": Best for coarse aggregate separation and applications where larger finished material is acceptable.

1-1/2", 1-1/4" and 1": Good general-purpose sizes for aggregate processing, soil separation, recycled material, and intermediate particle sizing.

3/4" and 1/2": Better suited to finer aggregate, screened soil, and applications requiring more uniform finished material.

3/8" and 1/4": Choose these for fine screening where smaller, more consistently sized finished material is required.
