Bear Iron Works Steel Track-Off Pad - Construction Mud Mat

The Bear Iron Works Steel Track-Off Pad is a reusable heavy-duty construction entrance system designed to help remove mud, dirt, and debris from vehicle tires and tracks before equipment leaves a jobsite.

Placed at the construction entrance or exit, the raised steel ribs work the tires and tracks as equipment passes over the pad, helping reduce the amount of soil tracked onto surrounding roads. The system is designed for construction sites, quarries, mines, property-development projects, and other applications where sediment tracking needs to be controlled.

Unlike cone-style tracking mats, Bear Iron Works uses a flat-rib design with 1-inch solid steel ribs welded to a 5/8-inch steel base plate. This creates a more stable surface while providing the durability required for trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, and even steel-tracked equipment.

The Track-Off Pads are modular and interconnectable, allowing multiple pads to be arranged according to the width and length of the site entrance. Integrated D-rings make them easier to position, retrieve, or reposition with suitable equipment, while the reusable steel construction allows the pads to move from project to project rather than being discarded after a single job.

Which size should you choose?

5' × 10': Best for smaller entrances, tighter jobsites, or applications where multiple smaller modular pads will be combined to create the required track-out area.

6' × 12': Provides approximately 72 square feet of coverage per pad and is better suited to larger equipment, wider entrances, and applications where greater coverage is needed with fewer individual pads.

Multiple Track-Off Pads can be interconnected to create a larger system based on site entrance width, vehicle type, traffic volume, and project requirements.
